AI Visibility Report Card
Get an A-F grade on the public website signals PromptScout can observe. Scored across 5 practical dimensions with specific recommendations.
What We Measure
We fetch real data from your website and grade it across five key dimensions that influence how AI models discover and reference your brand.
- Content Quality — Based on your actual meta tags, title, description, and heading structure
- Structured Data — Based on JSON-LD schemas detected on your homepage
- Authority Signals — Based on observable site maturity signals, not inferred brand reputation
- Brand Consistency — Based on alignment between your page title, Open Graph, and meta data
- AI Discoverability — Based on your robots.txt AI bot rules, llms.txt presence, and sitemap
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the AI Visibility Report Card measure?
The report card assesses public website signals across 5 dimensions: Content Quality, Structured Data, Authority Signals, Brand Consistency, and AI Discoverability. Each dimension gets a letter grade (A-F) and numeric score, plus you get an overall grade and specific recommendations.
Does this actually check my website?
Yes — when you provide a URL, we fetch your homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt, and sitemap.xml. We analyze actual meta tags, structured data (JSON-LD), Open Graph tags, AI bot policies, and sitemap structure. The AI then grades your site based on this real data, not guesses.
How are the grades calculated?
Grades are based on public signals from your website. Content Quality checks your meta tags and headings. Structured Data checks for JSON-LD schemas. AI Discoverability checks robots.txt rules and llms.txt presence. Technical Authority Signals are limited to site maturity signals we can observe, not third-party reputation. A = exceptional (90-100), B = good (75-89), C = average (60-74), D = below average (40-59), F = poor (0-39).
What data do you access from my site?
Only publicly accessible data: your homepage HTML (for meta tags and structured data), /robots.txt, /llms.txt, and /sitemap.xml. We never attempt to log in, access private pages, or collect personal data. All requests use a standard user agent.
How many reports can I generate?
You can generate up to 3 report cards per day. Results are cached for 30 days, so re-checking the same brand returns the same report without counting against your daily limit.
What should I do after getting my report card?
Focus on the high-priority recommendations first — they reference specific findings from your site. Common actions include adding JSON-LD schema markup, creating an llms.txt file, and fixing missing meta descriptions. Use PromptScout to monitor whether your changes improve actual AI mentions over time.
